Granola

&lt;p class="MsoNormal"&gt;1 cup raisins&lt;/p&gt;  &lt;p class="MsoNormal"&gt;2/3 cup peanut butter&lt;/p&gt;  &lt;p class="MsoNormal"&gt;2/3 cup honey&lt;/p&gt;  &lt;p class="MsoNormal"&gt;½ tea cinnamon&lt;/p&gt;  &lt;p class="MsoNormal"&gt;1 tea vanilla&lt;/p&gt;  &lt;p class="MsoNormal"&gt;4 cups oats&lt;/p&gt;  &lt;p class="MsoNormal"&gt;2 apples shredded&lt;/p&gt;  &lt;p class="MsoNormal"&gt;½ cup coconut&lt;/p&gt;  &lt;p class="MsoNormal"&gt;&lt;o:p&gt; &lt;/o:p&gt;&lt;/p&gt;  &lt;p class="MsoNormal"&gt;Pour boiling water on raisins and let stand until ready to use&lt;/p&gt;  &lt;p class="MsoNormal"&gt;&lt;o:p&gt; &lt;/o:p&gt;&lt;/p&gt;  &lt;p class="MsoNormal"&gt;In a saucepan combine the peanutbutter, honey, cinnamon and vanilla until heated through.&lt;span style=""&gt;   &lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;  &lt;p class="MsoNormal"&gt;Place oats in a roasting pan and pour peanut butter mixture over oats.&lt;span style=""&gt;  &lt;/span&gt;Mix in apples and coconut mix thoroughly until all oats are covered.&lt;span style=""&gt;    &lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;  &lt;p class="MsoNormal"&gt;&lt;o:p&gt; &lt;/o:p&gt;&lt;/p&gt;  &lt;p class="MsoNormal"&gt;Bake at 300 degrees for 30-40 minutes.&lt;span style=""&gt;  &lt;/span&gt;Drain raisins and mix into granola.&lt;span style=""&gt;  &lt;/span&gt;Turn off the oven and leave granola in the oven for several hours until dry.&lt;span style=""&gt;   &lt;/span&gt;&lt;span style=""&gt;

Wisk together:
1/3 cup of water
1/4 cup red wine vinigar
2T lemon juice
2T of fresh chopped oregano, parsley and garlic
1t dry mustard
salt and pepper to taste
2/3 cup olive oil

     &lt;p class="MsoNormal"&gt;I refer to this recipe as the basic recipe because I use it as the base often substituting different ingredients according o my mood. &lt;span style=""&gt; &lt;/span&gt;For example: &lt;span style=""&gt; &lt;/span&gt;balsamic vinegar for red wine, honey for sugar, ginger for dry mustard.
Have fun and be creative.&lt;o:p&gt;&lt;/o:p&gt;&lt;/p&gt;  I always make a double batch because it works great as a marinade too.&lt;span style=""&gt;    &lt;/span&gt;Currently I have some venison steaks marinating for tomorrows dinner.&lt;span style=""&gt;  &lt;/span&gt;All I did was add some extra worcestershire sauce, garlic and salt and pepper to it.
